LPG Compliance · AS 4983
Running an LPG Forklift? The Gas System Needs Its Own Annual Certificate.
A lot of operators don't realise this. The LPG fuel system is a separate compliance item to the mechanical service, it needs to be inspected and certified every 12 months under AS 4983. And a standard forklift mechanic can't sign that off. It has to come from someone with the appropriate gas fitting authority.
We have certified gas fitters on our team, so the mechanical service and gas compliance can be arranged through one call. Single machine or whole fleet.

How often should a forklift be serviced?
Every 250 to 500 operating hours, or at least every six months — whichever comes first. Sticking to that keeps you compliant with WA workplace safety requirements and tends to head off the expensive repairs before they happen.
Do you offer mobile forklift repairs in Perth?

Do you do LPG gas system certification?
Yes. The LPG fuel system on your forklift needs its own annual certification under AS 4983 — separate to the mechanical service, and it needs a certified gas fitter to sign off.
