Skid Steer Loaders for Construction & Earthmoving
A Range Backed by 30 Years on WA Worksites
Skid steer loaders earn their keep in spaces a full-size loader can't reach — tight yards, narrow site access, confined demolition or landscaping jobs — while still shifting real weight. HELI's HL807 to HL812 range is built around that brief.
The lineup runs from the entry-level HL807 through to the HL812, and includes the tracked HL812A for sites where flotation and traction matter more than raw speed. Every model uses a robust integral frame, a ROPS and FOPS rated cab, and dual pump hydraulics.
As the exclusive WA dealer for HELI, every skid steer we sell comes with local stock knowledge, genuine parts and a service team that knows WA sites.
- Established Perth operator, family owned since 1996
- Exclusive Western Australian HELI dealer

Wheeled or Tracked
Two Ways to Handle a WA Worksite
The right undercarriage depends on the ground you're working, not just the job you're doing.
Wheeled Skid Steer Loaders
Faster across hard, sealed surfaces like yards and warehouses, with lower running costs than a tracked machine of the same size.
- Operating loads from 730kg to 930kg
- Best on concrete, compacted yards and sealed sites
- Lower tyre and running costs than tracked models
Tracked Skid Steer Loader
Spreads weight over a larger footprint for better flotation and traction on sand, mud and uneven ground — common conditions across WA construction sites.
- 1,200kg operating load, 2,400kg max load
- Better traction on soft or uneven ground
- Listed at $59,900 ex GST

Attachments & Compatibility
Built on the Universal Quick Attach Standard
The HL807 to HL812 range uses the industry-standard universal skid steer quick attach mounting system — the same fitting used across standard size Bobcat, Kubota, Case and Caterpillar machines.
In practical terms, GP buckets, 4 in 1 buckets, pallet forks, sweepers and augers built to this standard will generally fit your HELI. Attachments already in your shed from other brands will usually carry over. Mini skid steers often use a different mini universal plate, so confirm fitment with our team before buying.

Frequently Asked Questions
Skid Steer Loader FAQs
Do Bobcat attachments fit HELI skid steer loaders?
Standard size skid steer loaders across the industry — including HELI, Bobcat, Kubota, Case and Caterpillar — use the same universal skid steer quick attach mounting system. Buckets, pallet forks, sweepers and 4 in 1 buckets built to this standard will generally fit a HELI HL807, HL808, HL809 or HL812. Mini skid steers often use a different mini universal plate, so confirm fitment with our team before you buy an attachment.
What's the difference between a skid steer loader and a mini skid steer loader?
A standard skid steer loader like the HELI HL807 to HL812 range has an operating load between roughly 730kg and 1200kg and is built for construction, earthmoving and heavier material handling. A mini skid steer loader is a smaller, often stand-on or remote control unit built for landscaping and tight residential access.
Should I choose a wheeled or tracked skid steer loader in WA?
Wheeled skid steers like the HL807 to HL809 are faster on hard surfaces — yards, warehouses, sealed sites — and generally cheaper to run. Tracked models like the HL812A spread weight over a larger footprint for better flotation and traction on sand, mud or uneven ground, which is common across WA construction sites.
How much does a skid steer loader cost in Australia?
Pricing depends on model, engine size and whether it's wheeled or tracked. The HELI HL812A tracked skid steer is listed at $59,900 ex GST. Call our Malaga or Henderson team on (08) 9248 8660 for current pricing across the full HL807 to HL812 range.
Do you provide parts and servicing for HELI skid steers in Perth?
Yes. Allied Forklifts is the exclusive WA dealer for HELI and has run its own parts and service operation in Perth since 1996. Our Malaga workshop stocks parts for the HL807 to HL812 range and services what we sell.
